Non-invasive Fat Reduction

If you already have a healthy lifestyle but there are still pockets of stubborn fat that exercise cannot get rid of, you will be a good candidate for non-invasive fat reduction procedures. CoolSculpting and Exilis Elite™ are both FDA approved technologies for fat reduction and body shaping.

Treatment Suggestions:
Freeze away fat with CoolSculpting® – the world’s #1 non-invasive fat reduction procedure. The CoolSculpting procedure eliminates stubborn fat safely and effectively, without surgery or downtime. This fat reduction treatment is the only FDA-cleared procedure to use controlled cooling to safely target and eliminate diet- and exercise-resistant fat. The treated fat cells are crystallized (frozen), and then die. Over time, your body naturally processes the fat and eliminates these dead cells. Once the treated fat cells are gone, they’re gone for good. CoolSculpting results are proven, noticeable and long lasting, so you’ll look and feel great from every angle.

The Exilis Elite™ is an award winning FDA approved technology for body fat reduction. Exilis Elite™ is a non-surgical procedure. It uses radio frequency (RF) energy to melt fat as well as tighten skin with long-lasting results. Precisely controlled radio frequency energy is used to heat the deeper layers of the skin. The heat is also targeted to fatty deposits in the body with the effect of “melting” the fat, which is then excreted by the body’s own natural process.

Treatments are scheduled at 7-14 days apart and patients are advised to have 4 to 6 treatments for best results. Results can be seen during the treatment program and maximum results are achieved 3-4 months following the last treatment.

Hair Loss (Alopecia)

Hair loss can be a difficult and embarrassing condition for both men and women. Traditionally, treatment options are limited to surgical procedures and prescription drugs. Today, there are non-surgical, totally natural, alternative medical procedures available to restore thicker, healthier hair.

Treatment Suggestions:

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) injections for Hair Loss are suitable for men and women suffering certain types of alopecia or general hair thinning, looking to prevent more hair loss and those not interested in surgery. It is ideal to start treatment at first sign of hair loss and thinning. New hair growth can be seen as early as 2 months, but is typically evident between 5-8 months and will continue to improve up to a year after treatment.

Mole removal

Moles (Nevus is the medical term) are small skin lesions consisting of cells that produce melanin. Moles can be present at birth or develop with age. If a mole is harmless after careful assessment, it can usually be removed for cosmetic reason. Mole removal is a minor procedure, which is done under local anaesthetic and it should be assessed and treated by a dermatologist. Our in-house Dermatologist, Dr. Maxine Wong, has over 10 years of experience and treated many patients with excellent results.

Cyst removal

Cysts are sebaceous-filled masses than can appear virtually anywhere on the skin. It’s important to get your cysts checked to ensure they are, indeed, harmless. Cyst removal is often easier than many patients expect. However, a medically trained and experienced healthcare profession should always handle cyst removal. Our in-house General Surgeon, Dr. Jason Wong, has over 20 years of surgical experience. He has served many patients with benign skin conditions such as epidermal cysts, lipomas, and subcutaneous tumours.

Fractional Laser Resurfacing (Lux1540, non-ablative) is a technology which promises to deliver results approaching that of deep chemical peels or ablative laser resurfacing, without the discomfort and inconvenience of a lengthy healing period.

Fractional Laser Resurfacing uses laser energy microbeams to break down skin tissue through the epidermis into the dermis. The body’s natural healing process creates new, healthy tissue to replace the areas of affected tissue, resulting in lighter scar color and a more even skin texture. This technology is the first to receive FDA-approval for treating Stretch marks. Additional treatments are usually spaced 1 to 4 weeks apart, for a total of 4-5 treatments. Further collagen remodeling and some skin tightening take place over the next 3-6 months.

Female Private Health

With Fotona laser, you can address a variety of female private health issues with one technology. Fotona is an FDA approved laser that utilizes photothermal energy to stimulate collagen production in both the urethra and the vaginal walls. This non-surgical laser procedure helps to reduce stress urinary incontinence and tighten vaginal canal.

IncontiLase® – Stress Urinary Incontinence Laser Treatment
IncontiLase® is a non-invasive walk-in/walk-out laser therapy for the treatment of mild and moderate stress urinary incontinence (SUI). It works by delivering precisely controlled laser-induced thermal effects that stimulate collagen neogenesis and remodeling in the vaginal mucosa tissue.

The end result of the IncontiLase® treatment is non-ablative photothermal tension, shrinkage and tightening of the tissue in the urethral and anterior bladder wall region which subsequently provides greater support to the bladder and the return of normal continence function. Three treatments spaced one-month apart is generally sufficient to alleviate mild to moderate stress urinary incontinence.

IntimaLase® – Laser Vaginal Tightening
IntimaLase® is an innovative non-invasive laser therapy for treatment of vaginal relaxation syndrome, a condition which is generally associated with overstretching of the vaginal canal during childbirth as well as with natural ageing. The IntimaLase® treatment is based on the delivery of specially composed laser energy pulses to the vaginal mucosa tissue. The precisely controlled laser energy pulses are designed to induce thermal effects in the vaginal tissue, stimulating collagen remodeling and the synthesis of new collagen fibers.

The end result of collagen neogenesis and remodeling is tightening of the vaginal canal. For the majority of patients, three sessions with a one-month interval are sufficient for significant tightening of the vaginal canal.

Excessive Sweating (Hyperhidrosis)

Excessive Sweating (also known as Hyperhidrosis) is a disorder that affects confidence, social comfort, emotional well-being and wardrobe choices. A medical breakthrough is to inject botulinum toxin A (Botox), the same medicine used for wrinkles, in areas of concern (usually the underarms). Botox® injection is a non-surgical procedure and is FDA-approved for treating excessive sweating of the underarms. One treatment can provide result that lasts on average of 6-8 months.

For patients with excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis), injection using botulinum toxin A (Botox) can provide effective relief for many months. This procedure has been proven as a treatment with long-lasting effect on Hyperhidrosis. It works by interrupting the chemical messages released by nerve endings that stimulate the sweat gland to produce sweat. This simple, safe procedure takes about 1 hour.

The clinical results showed that sweating in the underarm area was reduced by an average of 83% one week after the injection. In most cases, one treatment can last for more than 7.5 months. And for nearly 40% of patients, the procedure can reduce sweating for more than 1 year. The effect of this procedure may vary with individual. One treatment every 6-12 months is recommended to maintain the effect.

Tattoo Removal

When it comes to Tattoo Removal, we have multiple technologies available (PicoSure® 755nm Laser and Q-switched Nd: YAG Laser) to target different colors of tattoo. The combination of both lasers allow more effective removal of multi-coloured tattoos and require fewer treatments than traditional laser tattoo removal. It provides maximum tattoo removal while leaving the surrounding skin unharmed.

Laser removes tattoo ink with the energy of light. As the laser beam is passed into the skin, the tattoo ink absorbs the light energy. It causes the tattoo ink to break into tiny particles which can then be removed by the body’s natural elimination process. Laser provides maximum tattoo removal while leaving the surrounding skin unharmed. On the average, professional tattoos require 6–8 treatments, while amateur tattoos require 4–5 treatments. Treatments are spaced approximately 6–8 weeks apart. The number of treatments depends on the amount and type of ink used, and the depth of the ink in the skin.
